Tuition Payment Terms and Conditions
- Tuition Structure: Dance tuition is structured as an annual fee, divided into ten (10) equal monthly subscription payments. There are no fluctuations in the payment amount from month to month.
- Registration and Security Deposit: A non-refundable registration fee of $30 is required upon enrolling each student in Martha’s Dance Center portal. This fee does not guarantee placement in a requested class. A security deposit equivalent to one month’s tuition is due upon class assignment, which secures the student’s spot in the assigned class.
- Subscription Agreement: By enrolling in a subscription with Martha’s Dance Center, you agree to these terms and conditions, which will govern your subscription service.
- Payment Authorization: By providing your payment information and enrolling in the subscription service, you authorize Martha’s Dance Center to automatically charge the credit or debit card provided at the time of sign-up. Payments will be processed at the beginning of each month for the duration of your subscription.
- Billing Cycle: Subscription payments are billed on a monthly basis, with payments due on the first day of each month. The amount charged will correspond to the subscription plan selected at the time of enrollment.
- Failed Payments: In the event of a failed automatic payment due to insufficient funds, an expired card, or other issues, Martha’s Dance Center will attempt to process the payment again within a reasonable time frame. If the payment remains unprocessed after multiple attempts, your subscription may be suspended or canceled at the studio’s discretion, potentially resulting in the loss of the student’s spot in the assigned class.
- Late Fees: If automatic payments are not successfully processed by the 7th of the month, a late fee of $10 will be applied to each week the tuition payment is overdue. This late fee will accrue for a maximum of three weeks. If payment is not received within this period, it will be assumed that your child will no longer be attending Martha’s Dance Center, resulting in the forfeiture of both their spot in the class and the security deposit.
- Updating Payment Information: It is your responsibility to ensure that your payment information is current. If your card details change, you must update them promptly through your account settings. Failure to do so may lead to the suspension or cancellation of your subscription.
- Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your subscription by providing a minimum of thirty (30) days notice through the parent portal by completing the cancellation form. You remain responsible for tuition payments until the cancellation notice is submitted. Failure to provide the required notice will result in the security deposit being applied toward the final month’s tuition, and your child’s spot in the class will be forfeited.
- Refund Policy: Subscription payments are non-refundable. In the event of a billing error, please contact the studio director to resolve the issue.
- Changes to Subscription Terms: Martha’s Dance Center reserves the right to modify the subscription terms, including pricing, at any time. Any changes will be communicated in advance, and your continued use of the subscription service will constitute acceptance of the revised terms.
- Governing Law: These terms and conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of New York. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New York.
By enrolling in a subscription with Martha’s Dance Center, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
